Are you getting a paid vacation day off Labor Day Monday?

If so, consider yourself fortunate.

According to the Economic Policy Institute, about quarter of private-sector workers do not get a paid day off on Labor Day Monday. What’s more, the group says 23% earn NO paid vacation time whatsoever.

The EPI says while 34% of private-sector workers at the bottom of the wage distribution get paid holidays, 93% of top wage earners get paid holidays and paid vacation days.
