If you have ever wanted to look like a Ken doll, you just might be able to do so — now.

Ken is no longer only blond and blue-eyed. Mattel announced yesterday that it was rolling out 15 new Ken dolls.  The new Ken dolls have seven different skin tones, eight hair colors, nine hairstyles and on-trend fashion styles such as casual business attire and athletic wear.

They are diverse in a variety of ways: fashion style, hairstyles, eye color and even skin tone.

A more diverse range of Ken dolls follows Mattel’s 2016 introduction of three new Barbie body types: tall, curvy and petite. Those dolls also have a variety of skin tones, eye colors, hairstyles and fashion styles.

In a press release Senior Vice President and General Manage for Barbie, Lisa McKnight said this: “By continuing to expand our product line, we are redefining what a Barbie or Ken doll looks like to this generation.”

Mattel says the brand will roll out 25 additional diverse Barbie dolls. They will join the more than 100 diverse looks that have been launched in the Barbie Fashionistas line in the last three years.
